Assistant Professor
Dr. Abhinav is working as Assistant Professor in the area “Operations and Data Science” at School of Business Management, Mumbai, NMIMS University. His research interests are quality improvement & management, and metaheuristic search strategies. His research work has appeared in reputed international journals. His teaching interests include quality management, operations management and business analytics. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Dr. Abhinav holds B.Tech (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Himachal Pradesh University, Master of Design in Mechanical Systems from IIITD&M Kancheepuram and PhD in operations management from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Dr. Abhinav conducts training programs in business analytics and operations management.

Dr. Manisha Sharma currently works as Associate Professor in the area “Operations and Data science” at School of Business Management, Mumbai, NMIMS University. She is a data analytics educator and practitioner. She has organized many conferences and workshops in the area of Data Analytics and Research Methodology. She has published many SCOPUS indexed articles in the reputed journals including “International Journal of Information Management (ABDC A*) and Technology Forecasting and Social Change (ABDC A). Her disciplinary research interests lie in the fields of Mobile Applications, Social Media and Supply Chain Analytics.
Assistant Professor
Prof. Binesh Nair is an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics at the School of Business Management, NMIMS, Mumbai Campus. He is also the Programme Chairperson of India’s only dual-degree MBA programme in Analytics (MBA in Decision Sciences and Analytics), in collaboration with Purdue University. Binesh has experience of over a decade; spanning industry, academia, and research. Prior to joining NMIMS, he has worked with both Deloitte Ireland and Deloitte India, wherein he served the firm’s key clients mainly in the BFSI sector, helping them in managing their data, and deriving critical business insights. He has also worked with SMEs’, both in India and Ireland, in designing and developing analytical solutions. He has collaborated with researchers across the globe, from diverse domains, including social sciences, education, human resources, public policy, finance and so on. Binesh has published 20+ papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, typically in the realm of applied analytics. His areas of specialization are social network analytics, big data analytics, text mining, data mining and learning analytics. He has been the Government of Ireland Scholar for 2014/15.
